< How to Login to Yonsei Portal Service >

▣ User ID and Password   

 ◎ User ID
   - Undergraduates/Graduates: Student ID
   - Profesors: Y or Z + Faculty ID
   - Staff: Z + Staff ID
 ◎ Password
   - The initial password is the last 7 digits of your Resident/Alien Registration number.
   - For those foreigners whose last 7 digits of registration number are recorded as 000000 on the
     portal system or those students who were admitted in 1983 and before, the initial password can
     be the 6 digits of their date of birth in YYMMDD order.
   - Those students who were admitted in 1983 and before and whose information has not been
     computerized - for example, graduates from College of Medicine, Dentistry, and Nursing, may
     not log into the portal system.

▣ Changing Password   

 ◎ You can change your password by logging into
     [Yonsei Portal Service] -> [My Page] -> [Change Password].
 ◎ The password must be composed of at least 6 characters.
 ◎ You have to keep your password safe and should not reveal it to anyone.
 ◎ If you forget and want to initialize your password, please contact the relevant office as follows.    1) Undergraduates: Current Students - your affiliated college(department) office
   2) Undergraduates: Alumni
      - (Shinchon) Academic Support Division, Office of Academic Affairs
      - (Wonju) Office of Academic Affairs
   3) Graduates: Current Students & Alumni - your affiliated graduate school office

▣ User settings and Things to Note

 ◎ The Yonsei Portal Service is optimized for MS Internet Explorer 8.0 and above (resolution at 1024 x 768). If the screen does not show correctly, we recommend you to upgrade your Internet Explorer
 ◎ The portal service uses memory cookies and it may not work if you have set the security
  level of your browser to High or have blocked cookies entirely using your personal firewall.
  <Checking and Changing Web Browser Settings>
    Go to [Tools] -> [Internet Options] of your browser,
    and set the security level of your browser to minumum.

  <Checking and Changing CyberWall Settings>
    Check off the box for the setting that blocks sending/receiving cookies through the Settings menu.
    If this still does not solve the problem, go to [Tools] -> [Internet Options] of your browser,
    delete your temporary internet files and cookies, and close all browsers and try again.
